Hello everyone, welcome to our monthly book review. The review for March is, Praying for Your Adult Children, by Stormie Omartian.

Description

In this follow-up to The Power of a Praying Parent, Stormie addresses areas of concern you may have for your grown children and shares how to lift them up to God. It doesn’t matter how young or old they are, you can rest in the power of God working through your prayers.

I listened to this book via audible.com, but by the time it was finished, I had decided to go online and order the physical copy. What I found is an edition with just the prayers, so as I already have the full book, I ordered, The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children Book of Prayers

The prayers that Stormie says throughout the book, The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children, are such a blessing. I have prayed for my children throughout the years, but I found myself really thankful for the depths of the prayers Stormie encourages us to pray. They cover every aspect of an adult child’s life in a way I don’t think I have done over the years. It was wonderful to pray along, customizing it for my daughters. The Bible teaches us that prayer is a powerful tool God has given us to communicate with him about ourselves and on behalf of others. This really comes across in the prayers Stormie says.

I am really looking forward to receiving the book I ordered and am glad I have the audio book to go back to, which is about three and a half hours long. There is another edition called, The Power of a Praying Wife. I have ordered the physical book in preparation for April’s book review. What a blessing!

I hope you will be as blessed as I was when you read or listen to, Praying for Your Adult Children.

Thank you for reading this review. Until next time, God’s peace be with you.
