Program Review: Finding Hope in Recovery

If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the promise that Jesus Christ can deliver you from anything, if you call upon His name.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.

This week’s review is for the program, Finding Hope in Recovery.

Description

Travel with families living with addiction, and learn how recovery, reconciliation and healing can happen.

Although this program did not start out with a Bible verse, it certainly recognizes that we cannot do anything by our own strength and advocates faith in God, as the foundation of our lives.  The whole program has the strong message of us giving our lives to God, in order to change our destructive paths and go forward in hope and service of others.

I learned a lot watching this video and appreciate the ministries that work tirelessly to provide a helping hand to those dealing with various addictions.

What is wonderful is that this ministry puts those recovering, into service, to warn others of the destructive nature of drugs and alcohol. Our own testimony is the best weapon we have to warn others of the perils of drugs and alcohol.

This program also reveals the misinformation and incorrect approaches to addiction - it’s a life-saving resource.  I watched, Finding Hope in Recovery via Vision Videos website.

Thank you for reading this review.  Until next time - peace be with you.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
