Review: About Miracles
If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with God’s peace.
This week’s review is for a docu-drama called, About Miracles, by Lifestreams Media. It contains four accounts from people who have experienced miracles in their lives.
Each account has a Bible verses shown, before the account is given.
1st Account
The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. Psalm 146:9
This account is about a man who got rejected for a resident permit in America and was robbed in his workplace. It’s a reminder that our thoughts are not the thoughts of God. Neither are ours ways His ways.
2nd Account
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
This account is about the faith of a woman who trusted in the Lord to give her results for a goal she had.
3rd Account
1 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21
This account is about a woman who listened when God give her a command and it saved her life.
4th Account
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. John 9:3
I recognized the man in this account. Renewed Faith Meida is blessed with his music for the Sabbath Radio broadcast. This account shows how Neville responded when his prayers were not answered in the way he thought they would be.
All of these accounts are powerful, inspiring and give glory to God, in Jesus’ name.
Just this morning, I was listening to Psalm 37, played as a melody. I said amen as the following verse were sung: I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. Psalm 37:25.
It is comforting to know that God is always with us. Jesus says at the end of Matthew, that He will be with us until the end of the age. We are not alone, no matter what our circumstances look like. Praise the Lord.
I am looking forward to checking out more media from Lifestream Media and will be sure to review more material they have, that gives glory to God, in Jsesus’ name.
Thank you for reading this review. Until next time - peace be with you.
