Review: Closed P2 (Return Review) 7th Street Theater
If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the knowledge that our Heavenly Father is always present, ready to protect those who call on Him.
This week’s review is for part two of the 7th Street Theater episode, Closed, produced by Dave Christiano.
7th Street Theater is a drama series about five Christian actors who perform a weekly stage show for their community. There are 3 Seasons in the series and a total of 64 episodes.
Description
Ticket sales continue to decline rapidly and the theater might have to close.
As sales significantly decrease, Johanna, the Office Manager, reminds Rudy, the Production Manager, that they live by faith and not by sight. When things seem to be going desperately wrong, it is good to remind ourselves that our thoughts are not on the same level as the Lord’s.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
I really liked how this episode showed different reactions and yet there was not a mass panic. It was a good example that no matter what, we need to hold onto our faith, by God’s grace, as we don’t see the big picture.
I watched, Closed Part 2, on the Christian Movies YouTube Channel. We’ll continue with Part 3 next Sabbath.
Thank you for reading this review. Until next time - peace be with you.
