Review: Drive Thru History Adventures (Corinthians) Part 2

If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a humble walk with the LORD on the Sabbath.

I have been looking forward to bringing you Part 2 of review for Corinthians for Drive Thru History Adventures by Dave Stotts.

I really appreciated the birdseye view, Drive Thru History Adventures, provides.  I had just finished 2nd Corinthians when I purchased the module, but thought it well worth the time to start Corinthians over again.  I am very glad I did.  I picked up some points I had either missed or not thought about from another angle.

This time around I really saw the heartfelt message Paul was conveying, in the name of Jesus.

Like 1st Corinthians, there were more notes to write, even though I had written detailed notes before.  I also understood, on a deeper level, that Paul, the great writer of much of the New Testament, by God’s grace, was still having his authenticity and authority questioned by the church he loved so much.  At some point, Paul said, the more he loved the church in Corinth, the less he was loved.  2 Corinthians 12:15.

By the time I got to the end of 2nd Corinthians, I found myself thinking how blessed the church of Corinth was to have Paul as their elder.  Sadly, it sounds like many just didn’t see it, as they were more focused on holding onto their worldly ways.

Even though I was given the opportunity to join the Facebook group, I didn’t see much conversation from people who were not homeschooling.  This would have been a great Bible study discussion program for either an online group and/or a local church.  I really liked the review questions, and appreciated the reflection time.

As I have mentioned, I have the module for the Gospel of Mark, which I am already studying through Hope Sabbath School lessons, so I look forward to seeing how Drive Thru History Adventures presents the Gospel of Mark.  Look out for my review in the near future.

Thank you for listening / reading to this review. Until next time - peace be with you.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
