If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with more knowledge about Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
This week’s review is for the documentary, The Tabernacle.
Description
Have you ever imagined being inside the Holy Tabernacle, the Old Testament place of God's dwelling, the meeting place of perfect God and sinful man? The Tabernacle Special Edition DVD brings this holy place to life as never before. Digitally re-mastered and re-edited to include additional scenes and bonus features, this Special Edition DVD exquisitely recreates the sights and sounds of the Tabernacle with stunning clarity. You will be immersed in all of the scriptural details: the bronze-covered Altar, the gold Candlestick, the Table of Showbread, the Altar of Incense, even the Ark of the Covenant, an experience that is sure to capture your mind and your heart.
There are two tabernacle videos, one called The Tabernacle and the other, The Tabernacle Special Edition. As the description says, the second video has more details than the first. Both videos were very interesting to watch and have motivated me to go back to studying the tabernacle to write specific notes about how it all points to the first coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
I followed along in my Bible and found that it really did capture my mind and heart. How amazing it must have been to witness the presence of the LORD by fire or cloud, every single day. Exodus 40:38 says, For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
Praise the LORD!
I have many questions as a result of watching these videos and hope some of them will be answered by more Bible study.
Any source of media which gives us zeal to read the Word of God is a blessing. I hope you too will be blessed when you watch these videos.
