Short Film Review: Not as the World Gives

If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with God’s peace, in Jesus’ name.

This week’s review is for the short film, Not As the World Gives, by Eden Ministry.

Description

We can all struggle everyday with the pressures and frustrations that can make life a struggle, but if we make time for Jesus then all of these worldly problems are put into a new perspective.

This short film demonstrated the wonderful promise of Jesus in John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

This film shows what the Bible tells us - Jesus is the game changer, no matter where you currently are in your life.  No matter how far down you have fallen or how many times you have fallen - Jesus can change it all, if you give Him your time.  

Jesus gives life meaning, that’s why He said, I am the way, the truth and the life.  John 14:6.

This short film did a great job in capturing the joy and peace we have in Jesus, no matter what else is going on.  And the good news is- He is coming back soon, then this world as we know it, will be history.  Praise the LORD!
