I’ve read the main book, The 5 Love Languages and as a parent and child and youth worker, I was curious as to what this edition would offer.

I listened to the audio book, which lasts for about 7 hours. It contains an extensive amount of practical information, which will absolutely enhance your relationship with your child and weaved into all of this, is faith in God.

This is not a one listen does the job book. As I have read the main book, I already understood the basic concepts, but nevertheless, there are so many great tips, that this book will need to be read or listened to several times.

After listening to the book, I did as the author challenged one parent, I asked my adult children if they truly felt loved by me. Over the years I have learned to relate to them in the love languages they need. My heart was truly touched, as once again, they confirmed that yes, they did truly feel loved by me and were able to give me concrete examples, which aligned with their love languages.

This book is a must read for anyone that comes into contact with children in their families, workplace or anywhere else.
