Book Review: Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story

Hello everyone, welcome to our monthly book review. The review for July is, Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story.

I watched and reviewed the film, Gifted Hands last month and was so inspired, I wanted to know more of the story, so I ordered the audio book. The audio book is just under seven hours long. Every chapter is filled with powerful testimonies about the grace of God in Ben Carson’s life and those he came into contact with.

As I hoped, the extra time found in the audio book, added depth to the basic knowledge the film provided.

What I admire most about Ben Carson’s journey is that he gives all the glory to God and what a glorious journey it has been! The amazing thing is that God has equally amazing plans for all those who surrender their lives to Him.

The book, Gifted Hands, is a wonderful testament to how the Lord’s perfect plans for us, will be fulfilled, when we let him guide our lives.

Another book by Carson was mentioned - Think Big. This book looks very interesting, so be sure to look out for my review of this in the near future.
