Film Review: Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story

Hello everyone, if you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the confidence that God is able to make a miracle out of your life.

This week’s review is for the film, Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story.

Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story is a 2009 television drama film directed by Thomas Carter, based on the life story of neurosurgeon Ben Carson from 1961 to 1987.

Review

This story has many miracles and shows the goodness of God. I am reminded of the Bible verse from Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

God created miracles, not only in the life of Benjamin Carson, but in that of his mother, brother and those whom he touched in his profession as a neurosurgeon.

Gifted Hands is a powerful testimony of what we can achieve when we cling onto the Lord, with faith in his immeasurable and unfailing love for us. This wonderful film also shows how a solid prayer life and daily study of God’s Word - the Bible, keeps us connected to God, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
