If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the confidence in the promise that Jesus is coming soon.

I stumbled upon an advertisement for Drive Thru History Adventures while using Facebook.

Description

Drive Thru History Adventures is an online course service that brings your family the best of Drive Thru History, combined with an online world of curriculum and resources.

While this seems to be aimed at various levels in the school system and homeschooling, it peeked my interest, as I am a visual learner.

The New Testament has always been a challenge for me, because I have not been able to visualize Paul’s journeys. Drive Thru History Adventures seems to offer the perfect balance of Bible reading, curriculum and visual aids. You can select individual modules or buy the whole series.

The series comprises of:-

Bible Backroads: Explores the people, places, and events of the New Testament.

Ends of the Earth: How Christianity Changed the World

Acts to Revelation: The World of the First Christians

The Gospels: The Extraordinary life of Jesus of Nazareth

American Holiday: Special days that tell our story

America: Columbus to the Constitution

Ancient: Christianity and the Birth of Western Civilization

Bible Unearthed: This 12-part series explores the history, importance and impact of archaeology and how discoveries help us better understand the ancient world

The website allows you to have free sample modules. You can also choose to buy individual programs or the entire series.

I hope you will be with me in sampling this adventure. I have ordered the sample courses and have chosen Bible Backroads for my first review.

Here’s the description

Bible Backroads explores the people, places, and events of the New Testament. Hosted by Dave Stotts, each series is designed as a Bible teaching tool for churches, schools, and families. The home base for the show is “Dave’s Garage,” a state-of-the-art, extended reality lair where almost anything is possible. In addition to using maps, timelines, animations and artifacts in his garage, Dave goes on-location to Israel and the Mediterranean region for many of his adventures.

Each action-packed series comes with 6 episodes full of Bible history, archaeology, geography, and apologetics, that will encourage viewers to dig deeper into the scriptures with our included curriculum.

Sounds great! I am looking forward to checking back in with you for the review on the sample of Bible Backroads. If it’s as good as I think it will be, there will be another review posted later on detailing what the full program was like.
