If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the commitment to trust God - no matter what.
This week’s review is for the series, Life Explored, which is a seven part series. The second episode is called,The Trustworthy God.
Description
An exposé of the little gods that promise us so much happiness, yet deliver so little. As it explores the Bible story (creation, fall, redemption, new creation), Life Explored shows how our deepest desires for happiness can only be satisfied in one person, Jesus Christ. The best gift God can give us is Himself.
The presenter of this episode, gives a wonderful scenario of who we might think God is, depending on who we listen to. He uses the account of the fall of mankind in Genesis chapter three, to ask reflective questions on how we see God.
I like how he summarized God’s love in the garden of Eden: God gave Adam and Eve a paradise of yes and a single tree of no, wanting them to trust Him.
The presenter challenges the audience to think about whether they truly want their worldly independence or to trust God with their lives.
What comes into our mind when we think about God and is the God we think about truly the God in the Bible or some god we have made up in our own minds?
What does Satan want us to believe about the God of the Bible?
This episode focuses on the true God - the God in the Bible, His love for us and His relentless pursuit of the beings He created in His image.
This episode is a must see!
