Review: Saul
He's a man with two names. To the Jews he was called Saul, to the Romans he was known as Paul. He thought he was the hero in this story, but he turned out to be the villain. It took him losing his sight to see for the very first time. Are you willing to open your eyes?

This week’s review is for the short drama, Saul
Description
He's a man with two names. To the Jews he was called Saul, to the Romans he was known as Paul. He thought he was the hero in this story, but he turned out to be the villain. It took him losing his sight to see for the very first time. Are you willing to open your eyes?
"Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?'"
My Review
This dramatization goes into some things that Saul might have been thinking. Of course, these thoughts are not mentioned in the Bible, but Paul’s testimonies on how he was before and after his transformation are recorded in the Book of Acts, chapters 22 - 26, as well as the letters he wrote to the churches).
The focus on this short drama was to show the miracle of a transformed heart - no matter what we’ve done or how long we have been away from Jesus. Forgiveness is just one step away.
Acts chapter 9:1-31, which this drama is based on, is an amazing account, which not only speaks of Saul’s conversion, but the many lives that were changed, as a result of Saul meeting Jesus, on the way to Damascus.
