If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with reflections on how the LORD has been present in your life.
This week’s review is for part ten of Worship Factor
Description
Discover the transformative journey of Vestine Anrison,, a gifted Burundian (bur-rin-dian) gospel artist. Founder of a farming association dedicated to supporting rural communities, her life took a profound turn following the untimely loss of her parents. In a moment of worship, she encountered the presence of God and experienced a profound love that forever altered her perspective on life.
The last episode of this series is just as inspiring as the first episode. Anrison reflects on many questions she had, during her struggle before finding Christ. Questions that many people have, like, “Why do bad things happen?”.
Tommy and Anrison read powerful promises from scripture, mainly from the letters to the church in Corinth, that the apostle Paul wrote, that has just as much relevance in our lives today. Verses were read from the “love chapter” - chapter 13 in 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9: My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Anrison wrote a beautiful song that mentions some of the names of God. I really enjoyed listening to that song and the powerful and reflective testimony she had.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope to experience more of this ministry’s work.
