If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath full of heart-felt worship to the Lord our God.

This week’s review is for episode two of a 10-part series called, Worship Factor.

Description

Welcome to Worship Factor, a captivating TV series on worship in different cultures from around the globe: through insightful interviews and immersive storytelling, unveil the essence of worship and its diverse expressions across countries and cultures. Featuring worship music and thought-provoking dialogues on Christian faith and living, Worship Factor ignites a renewed passion and inspires believers worldwide to cultivate a deeply meaningful worship experience that glorifies God.

Episode 2: Explore the world of prophetic worship with Johanna Särkkälä from Tampere, Finland. Join us as Johanna shares her insights into prophetic worship and her innovative ministry for children through music, dance, and painting. Johanna's passion is to infuse the world with God's love, bringing healing to the broken and hope to the hopeless.

I was a little apprehensive about this episode because of the word prophetic. There are a lot of strange things said and done under the so called guise of prophecy. Thank God, this episode ended up being very interesting and a blessing, showing another aspect of ministering to people through music.

I am not sure if I would use the word prophetic to describe what Johanna is doing, but I certainly saw how God has blessed her with the ability to reach people through various types of art, including music.

The presenter Tommy, and Johanna had wonderful dialogue about how worship services should be. I completely agree and would love to be a part of a worship service, where everyone is encouraged to come with a open heart and experience the result of that.

I really appreciated what was said in the conversations Tommy Colin and Johanna had and see their view and expectation for the church aligning with the description of the first church described in the book of Acts.
